The American College of Surgeons Professional Association Political Action Committee (ACSPA-SurgeonsPAC) will host various events for members and SurgeonsPAC contributors at Clinical Congress.

Individuals who contribute a suggested minimum to the ACSPA-SurgeonsPAC during Clinical Congress will be eligible for a raffle and on-site giveaways. The suggested minimum contribution to attend networking events hosted by the ACSPA-SurgeonsPAC is $250 or more for Fellows and $50 or more for Resident Members. Only contributions made on-site during Clinical Congress, October 27–30, qualify. Previous and future contributions are ineligible for entry. All prizes will be mailed to eligible contributors following Clinical Congress.

ACSPA booth


The ACSPA information booth and lounge is located in the Moscone Center South, Ground Level. The lounge is open to 2019 SurgeonsPAC members and provides a convenient place to take a break, grab a beverage or snack, and discuss ongoing advocacy and political efforts with surgeon colleagues and staff.

Networking Events 


For a suggested minimum contribution, Residents are invited to attend the ACSPA-SurgeonsPAC-sponsored happy hour 5:30–6:30 pm Sunday. This annual reception offers surgery trainees a unique opportunity to socialize with other residents, PAC Board Members, and ACS leaders in a fun, casual atmosphere. In addition, 2019 PAC contributors are invited to the annual Clinical Congress ACSPA-SurgeonsPAC reception, 8:00–11:00 pm Tuesday. Details about these events are as follows:
