On Monday, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) will present Latin America Day, an annual Clinical Congress session presented entirely in Spanish. The session will take place 2:30−5:45 pm, Moscone Center South, 2006−2008.
This year’s panel discussion is Día Hispano Frente Ecuménico Latinoamericano Caribeño (FELAC): Fantasía o Realidad? Experts from all of the Americas will present updates on different issues in general surgery—from high-voltage injuries to complex duodenal and common bile duct procedures. Topics will include updates in trauma, oncologic operations, and bariatric and metabolic interventions. Speakers also will share the latest information in mini-laparoscopy and robotics. The audience will be able to participate in discussion at the end of presentations.
Latin America Day is cosponsored by the ACS Division of Education and FELAC.
