Getting to and from the airport
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is 16 miles south of downtown and is approximately a 20- to 30-minute drive (depending on traffic) from downtown.
Oakland International Airport (OAK) is 18 miles east of downtown and is approximately a 30- to 40-minute drive (depending on traffic) from downtown.
Airport Shuttle

Car Rental

Taxis
Taxis from SFO to downtown are approximately $45 to $65 one way. Taxis from OAK to downtown are approximately $70 to $80 one way.
Ride-sharing apps
Uber, Lyft, and Wingz are available from both airports.
Public transportation (BART)
The SFO BART Station is located on the Departures/Ticketing Level at the International Terminal (Boarding Area G side). The station is easily accessed from any terminal by riding SFO’s AirTrain to the Garage G/BART Station stop. There’s no charge to board AirTrain. BART tickets can be purchased at the SFO BART Station upon arrival.
The OAK BART station is just across the street from the OAK terminals. Take an eight-minute train ride from OAK to the Coliseum BART station, which has connecting service to all BART destinations. From Coliseum Station, transfer to a San Francisco/Daly City-bound train for a 21-minute ride to downtown San Francisco. For travelers landing at OAK, there is no need to purchase a BART ticket until you arrive at the Coliseum BART station. Purchase a BART ticket or regional Clipper card on Platform 3.
Getting to and from the convention center: Clinical Congress shuttle busses
Complimentary shuttle bus service is provided between 31 designated Clinical Congress hotels and the Moscone Center. Shuttle service begins at 6:30 am Sunday, October 27, and concludes at 11:45 am Thursday, October 31. Service will be approximately every 20 minutes between 6:30 am–9:30 am and 3:30 pm onward. Service will be approximately 30 minutes between 9:30 am–3:30 pm. Shuttle bus times and routes are subject to change. Please check your hotel lobby for the most up-to-date schedule and routes.
