Evidence-Based Decisions in Surgery expands offerings

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Division of Education will showcase new and updated modules of Evidence-Based Decisions in Surgery (EBDS) this year through the virtual Clinical Congress. Now featuring nearly 85 modules, EBDS continues to expand.

These point-of-care modules are based on the latest available evidence, practice guidelines, and consensus recommendations from experienced surgeons and address diagnoses and conditions most relevant to general surgeons. The modules are available electronically on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers and may be used for decision support and patient-focused interactions with other health care professionals.

Again this year, ACS Fellows, Associate Fellows, and Members will have the opportunity to purchase a compilation of all EBDS modules in the recently updated EBDS Digital Book. The EBDS Digital Book is a great resource to easily view and print modules as well as use for educational training purposes. Learn more at www.ebds.facs.org.
