The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Division of Education is showcasing new and updated modules of Evidence-Based Decisions in Surgery (EBDS) this year at Clinical Congress. Now featuring more than 75 modules, EBDS continues to expand.
These point-of-care modules are based on the latest available evidence, practice guidelines, and consensus recommendations from experienced surgeons and address diagnoses and conditions most relevant to general surgeons. The modules are available electronically on mobile devices, tablets, and desktop computers and may be used for decision support and patient-focused interactions with other health care professionals.
New this year will be the opportunity to purchase a compilation of all EBDS modules in the newly launched EBDS Digital Book. The EBDS Digital Book is a great resource to easily view and print modules, as well as use for educational training purposes.
Stop by the EBDS desk in ACS Central in Moscone Center South, Halls ABC, to view the new digital book and learn more, or go to www.ebds.facs.org.
